For this first post, let’s recap and bring you IMA's 2023: An IMA Year in Review–who are we and what have we been up to this past year?
Inventory Management Analysis (IMA Ltd) was founded in 1989 to fill a gap in the industry: the need for clean, standardized data. Since then, IMA has continued to expand and innovate to stay a leader in the data cleaning field. Just this year, IMA was named a Most Promising Big Data Services Provider in Canada. The accolades don’t end there–this year, our CEO and President, Charlene Freeman, was nominated for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award. She also submitted and was featured in the article, Unlocking Business Potential with uManage Pro: Revolutionizing Material Master Data Management.
2023 has been full of exciting changes. This year, we launched our new tool, uManage Pro, to bring data cleansing to the next level and have already seen extremely positive results with a faster cleaning process and better standardized data. In 2023, we had the opportunity to work with and mentor 4 co-op students from different Colleges and Universities across Ontario. We also updated our website, giving it a fresh look to reflect our priorities and offerings.
Part of IMA’s success comes from the tight-knit environment we’ve cultivated over the years–some of our staff have even been here since the beginning! In 2023, we enjoyed a Golf Day and Cookout with our staff. This was our first in-person meetup since the tradition was halted due to Covid, and was the first time many of our remote staff got to meet! We also celebrated Halloween with a costume contest and the December holiday season with a return of our annual holiday party.
IMA is proud of the charity and sponsorship our company and staff take part in. As part of the giving season, our amazing staff participated in an Adopt a Family program–for the 13th year! Together, we provided a family with gifts and food to celebrate Christmas. During the summer, IMA also sponsored a youth softball team.
IMA's 2023: An IMA Year in Review is now complete. With 2024 on the horizon, we look forward to continuing our exciting growth and the work we do. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a happy new year!
